BCUninstaller, also available under the name, Bulk Crap Uninstaller, is a free uninstall manager that comes with several powerful features you may want to take a look at. The tool can remove not only batches of programs but also all sort of leftover data.

When you open it for the first time, there is an initial setup wizard intended to configure the program according to your needs. Likewise, it also takes care of localization issues, like preferred language. Unfortunately, the tool crashed twice during this process.

This program’s interface may look complex if you compare it with those of other uninstall managers. This is because it has been intended for IT professionals rather than the general user. However, this does not mean you cannot use it if you are a newbie. The main window shows a list of the software installed on your system. In this regard, you should notice that there are more programs shown than in most similar tools. Its ability to detect orphaned programs is simply astounding.

An extremely convenient feature is that the tool can verify the program’s certificates, which may come in handy in detecting malware and adware. In this respect, the program uses a color code to identify software according to the type of certificate. For instance, Windows Store Apps appear in a specific color. Likewise, you can consult an entry’s properties to know such details as publisher, product code and registry key.

Another feature worth mentioning is this tool lets uninstall batches of programs, even without your intervention. In this respect, you can use the built-in search function and filters to create a list. Additionally, you can manage the list of programs that start automatically on boot.

Regrettably, BCUninstaller does not seem to support monitoring installations, which is considered one of the most effective methods to remove everything installed along with a given program.

All in all, the main benefit that you can get from BCUninstaller is that it shows many more installed programs and much more information about them than other similar tools. Good news is that this product is absolutely free to use; however, it seems fair to encourage any donations to the developer of this great program.
